The Parks Department of Montgomery City maintain five parks located through out the community with amenities that host various activities.

Underdevelopment

The City also boasts two paved walking trails that are open for public use.  One located at the north end of the City on the campus of Montgomery City Elementary School.  The other is located at the southern edge of the City on the Montgomery County R-II High School and Middle School complex.  This trail winds nearly two miles with exercise stations through a nature preserve that is also used as outdoor classroom.
