The Montgomery County Historical Society was organized as a Missouri not-for-profit corporation in 1976. It has Federal Sec. 501(c)(3) income tax status so that contributions can be claimed by a donor who itemizes deductions. The Society owns two adjoining buildings in the central business district of Montgomery City that house an extensive genealogical library and a museum of artifacts and antiques.  For more information visit the Montgomery County Historical Society website listed below.
