The Summer Reading Program is held on alternate Mondays during the summer months for children (preschool through 5th grade).  Programs include a variety of speakers, interesting activities and presentations.  Children are encouraged to read during the summer months.  They earn books as prizes for completing summer reading charts.  Call the Montgomery City Public Library at 573-564-8022 for more information.

   Middle School and High School students are encouraged to join the Teen Summer Reading Program.  Students keep a reading log and have a party at the end of the program to receive their rewards.

   A Reading Program was first offered for adults during the summer of 2014. It was very successful, so look for it each year.
